*How bad I feel, at the moment, after a major back, lumbar discs, surgery

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

Which of course is the case with probably all people, who thought/think they know/knew you really well.

These days, in my own situation, having lived alone for over 30 years abroad, alone: only I know myself best, usually.

However: recently I had an acute serious Gallbladder infection, subsequently, because I kept feeling unwell: more checkups (ultra-sound, mri, ct, xray):

Outcome amongst others:

I had 3 seriously degenerated LUMBAR discs

Also the neck vertebrae were not in the best of shape.

A gallstone had grown from 1.2 mm to 2.0 mm. over a period of 6 years, last time I had a complete checkup, prior to the COVID pandemic.

So at the moment, because I live alone only I know how it feels, having had that major lumbar disc surgery: it is ghastly, but was necessary.

How are you? Some nice folks ask, of course.

I then wiggle my hand: so-so, ie could be better. I am grateful they are kind asking, but going into detail, even talking about it: no way….too boring to listen to.

So that is what most people do not know about me NOW.

As soon as I feel A LOT better: as soon as I can make some real nice plans…. THEN I’ll talk 👄.
