It depends and it is *complicated* 😅

What is your favorite type of weather?

They say that, don’t they? It is complicated, my relationship with *THE WEATHER*.

It depends where you live, what spot on the globe is your home,  what you do there on a daily basis, or: where are you visiting: either on business or HOLIDAYING.

In my case: All my life I have been basically an *indoor* woman. I have been used to live and work indoors: nice homes, lovely offices.

When I would/did travel a lot for business: one expects/HOPES

* the car holds out, one does not get a flat, the roads are not congested, one does not get snowed in, or the black deck melts

* the plane gets you safely from departure to arrival, coast to coast, continent to continent, country to country.

All that has to do with THE WEATHER too and how one feels, how one likes the weather at a certain moment.

At HOME: every season does have its charms, i.e. I enjoy all seasons: sitting in my comfy home, provided: I have electricity, a climatized home, internet, TV, phones, hot/cold water, enough food.

*spring: lovely, but too cold to lie on the beach â›±, swim, where I live, walking nice.

*summer: often too HOT, unless you live near the Arctic circle, in Turkey 🇹🇷 too stifling hot usually to be outdoors.

*autumn: is really a nice season: leaves have those fantastic earth colors, but when they have dropped….ugh, me staring at all the bare branches: dreary. Thinking: this is it…for the next 4/5 months or so or until the trees are getting leaves again, or fruit trees flowers first in spring.

*winter: first: yoepee: getting the heaters to live indoors ready, changing to my winterbedding, storing the outdoor furniture ++

And when one goes SKIING: one wants SNOW & Sunshine 🌞, there is nothing worse than having booked a holiday in the mountains, and find the resort and slopes without snow.

It all has to do with *the weather*.

So THE WEATHER is a complicated *friend*.
