Good question.🤓??
However: who is free of misanthropic *feelings*?? I most certainly do have them, occasionally.
So: I checked online! OMG!!
Fortunately: one can read everything online: misantropy can even *turn* into a MENTAL illness!!
Auch… the last thing I would want to have is: a mental illness! No way.
Listing some of the good things I definitely have/possess:
I am not ill, I am not homeless, my residence and the location are quite pleasant, I have nice neighbours, plenty of delicious things to eat, I am not hungry, I am not obese, I am not on a diet, I hardly have debts, and a lot more good things to be happy about. Really.
So what is the matter? One might think, reading the above.
Probably: because it is FEBRUARY!!
The weather is grey, dreary, and deadly BORING!! And for me: February (also January) have always been the most dreary boring months of the year.
When I lived in The Netherlands: we always went skiing, 2/3 weeks in the French, Italian, Swiss Alpes in those dreary months: always: high altitude, above 2000 meters (6000 ft). Wonderful, great vistas, lots of OZON, and sunshine, (if you pick the right location)!! Back in dreary Amsterdam: and back to that daily life: business as usual. Full of zip, too.💪🤸🏂.
Here: no snow, the nearest ski resort near me DENIZLI, Southern Turkey: no snow so far this 2023/4 winter. I thought: may be taken a break, ski a bit there, nice: but rather primitive when one is used to European Alpine resorts. But no snow!
Anyway: a change of atmosphere/location, taking a break mid-winter: is definitely a great MORALE and IMMUNE SYSTEM booster!!💪
Below: typical BORING stuff, inherent to being indoors during the winter months.
