12 March 2026: The very latest now is: it might become possible for me to occuppy a senior citizen appartment, part of an assisted living complex for longterm dementia patients.
The complex is called HET SPIJK, location: Eefde Gelderland – NL and has 57 *woningen* (g/f houses).
My son and a local social welfare group are *in touch* about this. He plans to visit and have a look (latest info he gave me 11.03.26,) with me keeping my fingers crossed.
Being enlightened or feeling guilt, shame NOT GOOD
Note: not my sitting room. The carpet: definitely NOT my taste, nor the coffee-table, and lamp. Acceptable: yes.
Third year running after the Covid Pandemic: 2023: 87%, 2024: 65%
Some leaders, some governments still do not seem to know how to control inflation.
How many I can take back to Amsterdam? Perhaps none! May be ? 1 or 2.

😁 Definitely THE BEST THING I did/achieved in 2025.
●The overnight travelling by Turkish coach to Ankara, Turkey where the Dutch Embassy/Consulate is located takes 12 hours/one way. Ghastly.
●Travelling on New Year’s Day, for my appointment on 2nd January went against my sensibilities HOW to celebrate a new year: alone, on a dark and dreary route, overnight, sitting upright.
●I did survive all that of course, but not in the best of moods.
I really liked it, even plan to buy it, even take it with me back to The Netherlands.
